Role Description: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Litigation Associate to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role. You will be instrumental throughout the litigation process, and will be pivotal in overseeing case management, integrating innovative technology (particularly AI), and ensuring the firm’s continued success in providing exceptional legal services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience drafting and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, developing cases independently for success at mediation and trial, and possess strong leadership and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Case Evaluation and Trial Preparation:
- Work independently to evaluate cases, craft and implement a discovery plan, take and defend depositions, and work directly with clients to persuasively explain their story
- Draft Legal Motions and Oppositions and attend Hearings
- Work as a team to develop and implement specifically tailored case strategies
- Prepare for and attend Bi-Monthly Team Meetings to discuss and enhance Case Management
- Legal Support & Case Management:
- Assist with document review for case analysis and strategy.
- Draft and respond to written discovery; aggressively engage in detail oriented meet and confer communications and drafting effective motions to compel.
- Work with attorneys and clients to manage cases and to develop and implement specifically tailored discovery plans.
- Enhance each client experience and client relations by supporting case storytelling and ensuring excellent service.
- Ensuring the client intake experience meets and exceeds the firm’s professional standards
- Ensuring Firm Operations and Business Ventures Run Smoothly and Efficiently
- Marketing & Business Development:
- Assist the firm’s marketing initiatives, focusing on website optimization and digital presence.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase client acquisition, business development, market expansion and brand visibility.
- Work with external vendors as needed to manage the firm’s digital marketing campaigns.
- Overseeing special projects
